Info Sessions

The FNCI hosts regular info sessions with academics, government staff, civil society organizations, development proponents, and other stakeholders.

These information sharing sessions are intended to reveal the facts, uncertainties, and informed perspectives regarding the issues and opportunities associated with the strategies we can deploy here in British Columbia and globally to contribute to global climate change mitigation efforts that will achieve the Paris Agreement COP 26 commitment to cap global warming below 1.5 degrees.

Our Speakers

Our info sessions feature a diverse array of experts from the private and public sectors, civil organizations, and UN advisory bodies on climate change.

We encourage all speakers and participants to foster engaging discussions by sharing well-researched insights, acknowledging uncertainties, and exploring different viewpoints. This collaborative effort aims to unveil new information and perspectives beyond what’s presented, enriching our collective understanding and dialogue.
